Aromatherapy is a branch of herbal medicine that uses essential oils as naturals remedy.
Essential oils are obtained by extraction from parts of aromatic plants such as leaves, roots, flowers, fruit and citrus peels. The extraction method takes place through streams of steam that separate the oil from the aqueous substance. The product obtained is liquid, oily and fragrant like the plant from which the precious oil is extracted. It should be used with caution and always diluted because pure can cause inflammation, even lesions on the skin and ingestion can be fatal.
The aromatic power and the use of essential oil has always been used for therapeutic purposes such as topical applications, inhalations and compresses.
